Welcome to 2010, a year that will be packed with new and exciting singing opportunities from British Gospel Arts. One our highlights for 2009 was connecting our work to charities working in school education in The Gambia and having the opportunity to do gospel music workshops there.

For adults
Our 2010 programme starts from end of January with Weekend Specials, workshops on Lead Singing, Performance Skills and Song-Writing. Sign up to courses around London, South East and South West England, Wales and Scotland and experience the energy and talent of gospel tutors from all over the UK.
The popular 10-week LCGC workshop choir courses across London start on 1 March and 20 September in Islington, Lewisham and Wembley with exciting tutors form London Community Gospel Choir.
For young people
In 2009, we did experimental singing projects in schools across Britain that has set new models for our schools work in 2010 and beyond. Get in touch if you want us to make a difference in your school, inspiring creativity and productivity through singing.
In January we kick off The Sing Thing as part of the London-wide Sing Up Community, a partnership project with ARK Music, iGospel and Newham Arts and Leisure. The Sing Thing, mainly funded by Sing Up, will be working with children and young people 7-19years in North to East London culminating in a performance on 9 March 2011 at o2 Greenwich. Join us from 3-6 September for the third Gospel@Valenza music festival. It is open to choirs and individuals from all over Europe. For details on participating, please contact British Gospel Arts.
