British Gospel Arts Presents: The Sing Thing - Part of the London Sing Up Community

The Sing Thing Programme September to December 2010

The Sing Thing is taking it up a gear from September. After a successful first season from January to July 2010 working with young voices from 7-19years in North-East London, ending in our Summer Concert in July with guests London Community Gospel Choir.

The season from September will focus on Songwriting and creating Musical Games, as well as singing. It will end with a concert during the first week of December.

You can still join The Sing Thing. It is open to young people of all abilities from 7-19yrs. There are no auditions however a love of singing and music is a must! Parents are encouraged to join and sing alongside their children.

We have five singing clubs; two after-school which are open to all and two in-school:

  • 2020 Singing Club, Saturdays from 11 Sept.; 1.00pm to 3.30pm,

    £2 per session

  • Whitefield Schools and Centre, Tuesdays from 14 Sept.;
    2pm to 3pm
  • William Morris, Thursdays from 16 Sept.; 4pm to 5pm

British Gospel Arts was founded in 1999 and is the education arm of the London Community Gospel Choir. We have years of experience in this specialist field and are continually setting new standards in our work with schools, community groups, churches and in our successful adult workshop courses.

Sing Up Communities want to place singing at the heart of all our communities across the country. British Gospel Arts is in partnership with ARK music, Newham and iGospel as the London Sing Up Community.
